Nicknamed “malco” since her high school days, Yukari is an illustrator and a bag designer from Tokyo currently residing in New York.
The uniqueness of her work comes from the life she brings to the characters in her illustrations whether it be on bags, t-shirts, postcards, etc.

“malco” having graduated from Bunka Women's University in Japan with a degree in fashion is formally trained in: design drafting, sewing and apparel manufacturing.
She has since worked for a famous Japanese apparel company in Tokyo for 6 years and started her own bag and illustration career from 2002.
